<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />replace the persons or entities assigned to the Project except with the City's written consent, <br />which consent will not be unreasonably withheld. Project Architect will not assign to the Project <br />or contract with any person or entity to which City has a reasonable objection. Project Architect <br />will promptly update the list of persons and consultants if they change during the course of the <br />Project. <br /> <br />1.2 TASK 1- PRE-CONSTRUCTION SERVICES <br /> <br />The Pre-Construction Phase will commence upon execution of this Agreement, with Pre- <br />Construction Phase Services continuing through completion of the Contract Documents and <br />procurement of all major Subcontractor agreements. Pre-Construction Phase Services may <br />overlap Construction Phase Services. The Project Architect will perform the following Pre- <br />Construction Phase Services. <br /> <br />1.2.1 General Coordination <br /> <br />1.2.1.1 Assemble a Project team comprised of the City's representatives and the Project <br />Architect's representatives. The Project Architect will meet with the Project team to set <br />the design and production schedule and parameters for all subsequent work, to verify the <br />components within which all Project participants must perform, and to identify all <br />parties and significant deadlines involved in the comprehensive schedule strategy. <br />Based on this information, the Project Architect will prepare a detailed schedule of Its <br />work for the Project addressing each component of the work to be done, indIcating the <br />points of involvement of all project participants. The Project Architect will meet with <br />the City and the Owner Representative periodically or as needed to update the City on <br />the progress of work. <br /> <br />1.2.1.2 Assist the City in connection with the City's responsibility for filing documents required <br />for the approval of governmental authorities having jurisdiction over the Project. <br /> <br />1.2.1.3 Provide a preliminary evaluation of the City's Design Criteria and the CCL, each in terms <br />of the other. <br /> <br />1.2.1.4 Review and understand the standards and requirements in City's Specifications and <br />perform all services in accordance with those standards and requirements. <br /> <br />1.2.1.5 Visit the site and inspect the existing facilities, systems and conditions to help ensure an <br />accurate understanding of the existing conditions as required. For purposes of thIS <br />Agreement, the terms "inspect" and "inspection" mean the examination of site conditIOns <br />and construction to permit the Project Architect, as an experienced and qualified <br />professional, to determine whether the work is in general conformity with the Contract <br />Documents. <br /> <br />1.2.1.6 Participate as a member of the Project Team in the development of the Project Facility <br />Program (the "Program") if the Program has not been developed prior to the Effective <br />Date of this Agreement. <br /> <br />3 <br />
