<br />15 <br /> <br />Boardinghouse: A building other than a hotel where <br />lodging and meals for three (3) or more persons are <br />served for compensation. <br /> <br />Building: Any structure built for the support, <br />shelter and/or enclosure of persons, chattels or <br />movable property of any kind. <br /> <br />Building Line: A line parallel or approximately <br />parallel to the street right-of-way property line <br />and beyond which no building shall be erected. <br /> <br />Business: Includes local, retail, commercial, or <br />such other uses, and districts as herein defined. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Ceiling: No ceiling shall be less than 7ft. in <br />height. <br /> <br />Cellar: That portion of a building between the <br />ground and the floor joist which is partly below <br />and partly above the grade but so located that the <br />vertical distance from grade to the floor below <br />ground is greater than the vertical distance from <br />grade to the first floor joist or ceiling if there <br />be no floor above the cellar portion. <br /> <br />Clinic, Medical: An institution or station for the <br />examination and treatment of ill and afflicted out- <br />patients. <br /> <br />Convalescent Home: Any structure used for or occu- <br />pied by persons recovering from illness or suffering <br />from the infirmities of old age. <br /> <br />Court: An open, unoccupied space, bounded on more <br />than two (2) sides by buildings.
