JOHNSON DRIVE, <br />PLEASANT STREET, PARK STREET, AND A PORTION OF AN <br />ALLEY EXTENDING NORTHWARD AND EASTWARD FROM PLEASANT <br />STREET SESSOM DRIVE LOCATED WITHIN THE CORPORATE <br />LIMITS OF SAID CITY; PROVIDING FOR THE REVISION OF <br />THE FEE IN SAID LAND AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Cavazos moved the Ordinance be approved on second reading. Mr. <br />Tenorio seconded the motion. Mr. Hyatt expressed his concern that <br />the City and University must find some way to route traffic around <br />the campus if interior streets are to be closed. The City Manager <br />responded that staff was working with SWTSU representatives concerning <br />traffic and recommended that Council approve the Ordinance. The <br />Mayor stipulated that the abandonment by SWTSU of Woods Street from <br />Comanche to Guadalupe be released to the City before the deed was <br />approved for City abandonment of streets. On roll call, the motion <br />to approve the Ordinance on second reading passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor opened a public hearing continued from the regular meeting <br />held January 14th to consider a request for a change in the zoning of <br />Lots 430 and 431, Block 20 of the Westover Addition from "R-l" <br />to "R-2". Mr. Ralph Ramirez, the applicant, was present to inform the <br />Council that there were already duplexes in the area and that he <br />considered it the highest and best use of the land. Mr. W. B. pryatel, <br />representing the Southwest Hills Neighborhood Association, objected to <br />rezoning. There was no second <br />to his motion. Mr. Tenorio moved the Ordinance be approved on first <br />reading. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion. Mr. Breihan raised the <br />question of drainage problems in the area, asking if the City could be <br />
