Notwithstanding any other provision of this contract, the total of all payments, liabilities and obligations made or incurred by City hereunder shall not exceed the sum of four thousand and seven hundred and fifty dollars ($4,750.00). Section 4. Contract Period This contract and agreement shall begin April 15, 1980. and shall terminate February 28, 1981. Section 5. Project Director The Contractor hereby names Margie McCloskey to be the project director. If there is any change in the project director, then the Contractor must send to City written notice of the change within ten (10) working days. Upon receipt and written approval of such change in the proJect director by City, the written notification shall constitute an amendment to this contract. Section 6. Legal Authority of Contractor A. The Contractor assures and guarantees that it possesses the legal authority, pursuant to any proper, appropriate and official motion, resolution or action passed or taken giving the Contractor legal authority, to enter into this contract, receive the funds authorized by this contract and to perform the services the Contractor has obligated itself to perform under this contract. B. The person or persons signing and executing this contract on behalf of the Contractor, or representing themselves as signing and executing this contract on behalf of the Contractor, do here- by warrant and guarantee that he or they have been duly authorized by the Contractor to execute this contract on behalf of the Contractor and to validly and legally bind the Contractor to all the terms, per- formances and provisions herein set forth. Section 7. Duties of Project Director A. The Contractor assures that the project director will provide a progress report which includes the significant accomplish- ments which have occurred during the report period and which are anticipated in the next report period. Such reports shall be submitted monthly to City. Director shall be responsible for assisting City In complying with Program Narrative as defined in Attachment B of this contract. Section 8. Reporting Requirements A. In addition to the reports which Contractor is required to submit to City under subsection B (1) of Section 3 of this contract, Contractor shall submit the following: 1. The Contractor will submit to City a monthly . narrative report no later than the Stn day of the month following the close of the preceding ~onth. The narrative report shall include a statement of the progress of the project in terms of the work plan, and the products delivered and a statement of any problems encountered or pro- posed directional changes. 2. The Contractor will submit to City a final nar- rative report no later than 30 days after the term- ination date given in Section 4. Such final narrative Page 2 of 7 Pages
