Mr. Stokes nominated Mr. Carlos Tijerina and John Durrett. Mr. Tenorio nominated Mr. Aart Millecam. Mr. James nominated Mr. Bud Walker. Mr. Cavazos moved the nominations cease. Mrs. Norris seconded the motion. On roll call, the following vote was recorded: Brown Cavazos James Kraus Norris Stokes Tenorio Millecam/Tijerina Tijerina/Durrett Millecam/Walker Durrett/Tijerina Tijerina/Millecam Durrett/Tijerina Millecam/Tijerina Mr. Aart Millecam and Mr. Carlos Tijerina were appointed. The Mayor then introduced for consideration appointment of a Council Member to replace Mr. Breihan as the City's CAPCO representative. Mr. Stokes nominated Mrs. Norris. Mr. Tenorio moved the nominations cease and Mrs. Norris be elected by acclamation. Mr. Stokes seconded the motion. On roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Cavazos, James, Kraus, Stokes, Tenorio NAY: None ABSTAIN: Norris I The Mayor introduced for consideration an Ordinance on third and final reading having the following caption: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, SETTING RATES OF FARE FOR PASSENGERS OF VEHICLES OTHER THAN AUTOMOBILES WHICH PROVIDE SURFACE TRANSPORTATION ALONG DESIGNATED ROUTES ADJACENT TO THE SAN MARCOS RIVER AND WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Cavazos moved the Ordinance be adopted. Mr. James seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor introduced for consideration an Ordinance on third and final reading having the following caption: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF 4.125 ACRES OUT OF THE T. J. CHAMBERS LEAGUE; LOCATED AT ADVANCE AND ALLEN STREETS INTERSECTION FROM "R-l" (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO "R-2" (DUPLEX). I Mr. Stokes moved the Ordinance be adopted.
