By November 30, 1980, the city of San Marcos will have completed
the installation of an alarm system which will notify personnel at
sewage plant No.2 when the main lift station is not functioning

properly or when a bypass is occurring.

I

This Enforcement Compliance Directive is issued in the exercise of the Executive

Director's prosecutorial discretion and represents only a determination that

formal enforcement action will be withheld so long as the city of San Marcos
complies with the specified schedule. The Enforcement Compliance Directive does
not constitute a modification or waiver of any applicable requirement. In the

event legal action is initiated, the Texas Department of Water Resources may

seek civil penalties for all violations, including those which occurred prior

to the issuance of the Enforcement Compliance Directive. This Enforcement

Compliance Directive becomes effective on the date signed by the city.

.l\pproved thi s day of , 1 980
I W:.L
Harvey Davis, Executi
Texas Department of W
Approved this 2D~ daYOf~~ ' 1 980
<

I

-2-
