Notify City of all utility adjustments known <br /> <br />or which should be known to the Engineer in <br /> <br />the exercise of a reasonbale degree of pro- <br /> <br />fessional competence that are necessary for <br /> <br />the completion of the Project and provide <br /> <br />detailed drawings for the relocations or re- <br /> <br />placement of those utilities. <br /> <br />e. Notify City of any right of way or easement <br /> <br />acquisitions that are required to complete <br /> <br />the project. <br /> <br />f. Prepare an updated cost estimate base upon the <br /> <br />preliminary design. <br /> <br />g. Submit the preliminary drawings to the City <br /> <br />staff for review, comments and approval. <br /> <br />3. Final Design Phase <br />a. Proceed with the design phase after receipt <br />of written notice to proceed with the City <br />approved preliminary design. <br />b. Make approved modifications and additions <br />to contract drawings and specifications re- <br />sulting from City's preliminary plan review. <br />c. Complete the revisions of the construction <br />drawings, specifications and,E>t.her_contract <br />documents. The designs shall in all respects <br />combine the application of sound engineering <br />principles with a high degree of economy. <br />d. Prior to actual printing and delivery, submit a <br />copy of the final plans, specifications and other <br />contract documents and cost estimate to City for <br />final review and comments. <br />e. Prepare proposal of authorized construction, which <br /> <br /> <br />shall include summaries of bid items and quantity <br /> <br /> <br />which will be based, whenever practical? on the <br /> <br /> <br />unit price system of bidding. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />
