I I I 31 RESOLUTION NO. 1980-39R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN ENGINEER- ING SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR WEST WATER WELL IMPROVEMENTS BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AND PRO-TECH ENGINEERING GROUP, INC.; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS; the City of San Marcos, Texas, wishes to construct a water well west of the city of San Marcos as a part of the Fifth Program Year of the Community Development Block Grant Program; and, WHEREAS, said City intends to connect said water well to an existing water main at the intersection of Hunter and Redwood Roads in said City; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of said City desires to obtain pro- fessional engineering services for the preparation of design docu- ments and plans and specifications for said water well and for the administration of the contract for contruction of said well; and, WHEREAS, said City Council believes that Pro-Tech Engineering Group, Inc. is capable of performing said services; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TE XAS : PART 1. That the Engineering Services Agreement For West Water Well Improvements between the City of San Marcos, Texas and Pro-Tech Engineering Group, Inc., a copy of which is attached hereto and for all intents and purposes incorporated herein, be, and 1S hereby, approved. PART 2. That City Manager A.C. Gonzalez be, and is hereby, authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of the City of San Marcos. PART 3.
