32 STATE OF TEXAS ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR WEST WATER WELL IMPROVEMENTS COUNTY OF HAYS THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this I~ day of :rL"'C- 1980 by and between the City of San Marcos, Texas, a municipal corporation organized and existing under the laws I of the State of Texas and situated In Hays County, Texas. acting through authority conferred on city manager A.C. Gonzalez by Resolution 1980- , adopted June 16, 1980._ , hereinafter called "City" and Pro-Tech Engineering Group, Inc., hereinafter called "Engineerll, WHEP~AS, City intends to construct a new water well complete with pump, motor and controls and to connect said new well to the existing water main at the intersection of Hunter and Red- wood Roads in the City of San Marcos with a 12 inch water line, said construction to be termed West Water Well Improvements, hereinafter "Improvements"; I WHEREAS, City desires to obtain professional engineering service in connection with Improvements, such services to include preparation of design documents and plans and specifications for construction and administration of the contract during the construction phase; WHEPEAS, Engineer is qualifed and capable of performing the professional engineering services proposed herein, is acceptable to City and is willing to enter into an agreement with City to perform such services. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved, that the parties hereto do mutually agree as follows: I ARTI CLE I. EMPLOYMENT OF ENGINEER City agrees to retain Engineer and Engineer agrees to per- form professional engineering services in connection with the Improvements as set forth in sections following; and City agrees to pay and Engineer agrees to accept fees as specified in sections
