I I III 44 RESOUTION NO.1980-43R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND JULIUS SADOWSKY ADVERTIS- ING INC. FOR THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF BUS STOP BENCHES FOR USE OF SOUTHWEST TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY SHUTTLE BUS SYSTEM PASSENGERS; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY AND DE- CLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on June 14, 1977 the City of San Marcos, Texas, and Julius Sadowsky, Jr., doing business as "Bus Stop Ads" entered into a contract for the establishment and maintenance of bus stop benches at shuttle bus stops within the City; and, WHEREAS, that contract became effective on July 14, 1977, and, expires on July 14th of this year; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of said city finds that Julius Sadowsky, Jr. has substantially performed the duties assigned to him by the contract; and, WHEREAS, said City Council wishes to enter into a three year contract with Julius Sadowsky, Jr. for the continued pro- vision and maintenance of bus stop benches at designated loca- tions; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TE XAS : PART 1. That the Contract For provision and Maintenance of Bus Stop Benches between the City of San Marcos, Texas and Julius Sadowsky Advertising, Inc., a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, be, and is hereby, approved. PART 2. That the Mayor of said City, Kenneth V. Kraus, or his successor, be, and is hereby, authorized to execute said Contract on behalf of the City of San Marcos. PART 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and after its passage.
