I I I 91 THE STATE OF TEXAS CONTRACT FOR ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES COUNTY OF HAYS KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That the City of San Marocs, Texas, a municipal corporation located in Hays County, Texas existing by and under the laws of the State of Texas, acting through authority conferred on its City Manager A.C. Gonzalez, Jr. by resolution duly enacted on August 11, 1980 hereinafter "City", and Texas Educational Foundation, Inc., a Texas non-profit corporation, hereinafter "Foundation" enter into this agreement for the provision to Foundation by City of services of City's animal control depart- ment on the site of the Gary Job Corps Center in Caldwell County, Texas. I. City shall patrol the Gary Job Corps Center staff housing area, cafeteria and food area and surplus storage area upon request of the Gary Job Corps Housing Coordinator for the purpose of impounding or confiscating dogs ln said area which are not under the supervision of the owner of the dog. For purposes of this Agreement, a dog shall not be considered to be under the control of the owner unless the dog is on a leash, confined to a specific area by a fence or other similar structure or being exercised with the owner in sight. The described service shall be performed by City as promptly as is reasonably possible after said request from said Coordinator, provided that it is understood that the primary responsibility of the City is to the citizens of said City and it is expressly agreed that said service shall not interfere with the normal responsibilities of the animal control department of City. II. Employees of City shall record the information found on the Gary Job Corps identification tag when dogs are impounded wearlng such tags. A list containing such information shall be provided to the Housing Coordinatior at the end of each patrol. It shall be the responsibility of the Housing Coordinator to identify the owner of the impounded dog and to inform said owner so that arrangements
