<br />-2- <br /> <br />may be made by the owner for the dog's release or for other <br />disposition of the animal. <br /> <br />I I I . <br /> <br />City shall release a dog so impounded to the owner of the <br />dog upon payment by owner of the impoundment fees as specified <br />I in Part VI of this Agreement. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />City shall keep any dog impounded under the terms of Part <br />I of this Agreement for a seventy-two (72) hour period during <br />which time the dog may be reclaimed by the owner under the terms <br />of Part III of this Agreement. At the end of said seventy-two <br />(72) hour period City may dispose of the dog by the most expedi- <br />tious and humane manner available, provided that City may allow <br />the dog to be adopted according to City rules and regulations at <br />the end of said seventy-two (72) hour period. <br />V. <br /> <br />For each trip that City makes to the site of Gary Job Corps <br />Center, Foundation shall pay to City the sum of two hundred <br />dollars ($200.00). For each dog euthanized Foundation shall pay <br />to City an additional five dollars ($5.00). Impoundment fees <br />attributable to Foundation as described in Part VI of this Agree- <br />ment shall be in addition to the fees described ln the previous <br />two sentences. For each dog that is observed for the presence <br />of rabies for the required ten (lO) day period pursuant to Part <br />VIII (E) of this Agreement and that is unclaimed at the end of <br />said period, Foundation shall pay to City the sum of forty one <br />dollars ($4l.0Q), which sum represents the impoundment fees for that <br />period. The euthanasia fee shall be in addition to said sum. <br /> <br />VI. <br /> <br />Payment to City for keeping an impounded dog shall be five <br />II dollars ($5.00) for the first day and four dollars ($4.00) for <br />each additional day after the first day; provided than in no <br />case shall such impoundment fee be more than thirteen dollars <br />
