<br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
<br />
<br />The Mayor introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the
<br />regular meeting held August 11, 1980. Mr. James moved for approval.
<br />Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

<br />The Mayor introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the
<br />special meeting held August 13, 1980. Mr. Stokes for approval. Mrs.
<br />Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

<br />The Mayor introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the
<br />emergency meeting held August 14, 1980. Mrs. Norris moved for approval.
<br />Mr. James seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
<br />
<br />The Mayor introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the
<br />special meeting held August 18, 1980. Mrs. Norris moved for approval.
<br />Mr. Stokes seconded the motion. On roll call, the following vote was
<br />recorded:

<br />The Mayor then presented the Employee of the Month certificate to Calvin
<br />Thomas from the Street Department.

<br />The Mayor then introduced for consideration the Interim Subdivision Ordinance
<br />on first reading. The City Secretary and Deputy City Secretary read the
<br />Ordinance in its entirety. The Ordinance had the following caption:

<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, REPEALING THE
<br />SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, CODIFIED
<br />AS APPENDIX C OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AND ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE TO BE CODIFIED AS
<br />APPENDIX C OF SAID CODE ADOPTING AND PROMULGATING RULES AND
<br />REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE PLATTING OF LAND INTO SUBDIVISIONS
<br />IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND WITHIN THE EXTRATERRITORIAL
