<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Paragraphs 2.b., plus 2.c., shall be 100% of the Basic <br />Charge as determined in Paragraph 3.b. Fees for General <br />Representation shall be computed on the basis of value of <br />construction work performed by the Contractor as re- <br />flected by the monthly estimates prepared by the Engi- <br />neer. Payment for general representa t ion s ha 11 be due <br />and payable upon submission of statement to the Owner. <br /> <br />d. <br /> <br />For Resident Representation During Construction: For <br />Resident Representation During Construction, Paragraph <br />2.d., the Engineer shall be paid the actual salary cost <br />of all personnel required times a multiplier of 2.0. <br />Salary cost is defined as the cost of salaries of engi- <br />neers, draftsmen, stenographers, surveymen, clerks, <br />laborers, etc., for time directly chargeable to the <br />project, plus social security contributions, unemploy- <br />ment compensation insurance, retirement benefits, medical <br />and insurance benefits, sick leave, vacation and holiday <br />pay applicable thereto. (Salary Cost is equal to 1.34 <br />times salary payments for 1980. This factor is adjusted <br />annually.) The Engineer shall also be paid the actual <br />direct expense of providing such personnel, including <br />travel, transportation, subsistence, supplies and other <br />actual "out-of-pocket" expenses times a rnul ti pl ier of <br />1.15 for an overhead or service charge. <br /> <br />Payment for Resident Representation and Inspection <br />During Construction shall be due and payable upon sub- <br />mission of statements by the Engineer to the Owner. The <br />Engineer shall not submit statements more frequently than <br />monthly. <br /> <br />4. Prelirninary Estimates: The Engineer will furnish estimates <br />of probable construction cost of the work, but he does not guarantee the <br />accuracy of such estimates. <br /> <br />5. Revision of Plans and Specifications: The Owner reserves <br />the right to direct substantial revision of the plans and specifications <br />after due approval by the Owner as Owner may deem necessary, but in <br />such event the Owner shall pay to the Engineer just and equitable com- <br />pensation for services rendered in making such revisions. If revisions <br />in the plans, specifications or dral'lings are required by reason of the <br />Engineer's error or omission, then such revisions will be made by the <br />Engineer without additional compensation to the fees herein specified. <br /> <br />6. <br />
