<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PLAN <br /> <br />Pro-Tech Enqineering Group. Inc. <br /> <br />, hereinafter known as the contractor, <br /> <br />hereby agrees to this Section 3 Plan and submits said Plan to the City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />San Marcos, for Victory Gardek~own as the Section 3 area. <br />. <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The purpose of this plan is to set forth policies and procedents <br /> <br />to be implemented by the contractor to assure compliance with <br /> <br />Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Action of 1968, <br /> <br />12 use 1701-4 as amended. <br /> <br />II. Utilization of lower income area residents as trainees: <br /> <br />.The contractor will provide for the City of San Marcos <br /> <br />an employee profile form showing the trade and job classifications. <br /> <br />An attached employment profile form will be provided for the <br /> <br />information on existing and project work force. In meeting <br /> <br />this trainee requirements the contractor will: <br /> <br />A. Utilize the Maximum number of persons in the various training <br /> <br />categories in all phases of the work to be performed under <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />the SectiQn 3 covered project. <br /> <br />B. Filling all vacant training positions with low income pro- <br /> <br />ject area residents except for those training positions <br /> <br />which remain unfilled after a good faith effort has been <br /> <br />made to fill them eligible low income project area <br /> <br />residents. <br /> <br />III. Establishing number of tainees: <br /> <br />A. For the building construction occupation, the number of train- <br /> <br />ees or apprentices for each occupation shall be that number <br /> <br />which can reasonable be utilized in each oc~upation on each <br /> <br />phase of Section 3 covered project, and in no event shall that <br /> <br />number be less than the number of trainees or dpprentices <br /> <br />determined pursuant to regulations issued by the Secretary of <br /> <br />Labor for each building construction occupation. <br /> <br />r <br />
