For non-construction occupations or for building construc- <br /> <br /> <br />tion occupations for which ratios are not determined pur- <br /> <br />suant to regulations of the Secretary of Labor, the number of <br /> <br />trainees for each occupation shall be that number which can <br /> <br /> <br />reasonable be utilized in each occupation of each phase <br /> <br /> <br />of a Section 3 covered project. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />IV. Utilization of lower lncome area residents as employees: <br />The contractor shall fulfill the obligation to utilize lower <br />income project area residents as employees to the greates ex- <br />tent feasible by: <br />A. Identifying the number of positions in the various occupa- <br />tional categories including skilled, semi-skilled, or un- <br />skilled labor, needed to perform each phase of those various <br />occupation categories which are in the Section 3 covered <br />proj ect. <br />B. Identifying of the positions identified in paragraph (A) <br />of this section; the number of positions in the various <br />occupation categories which are currnetly occupied by <br />regular permanent employees. <br />C. Identifying of the positions identified in paragraph (A) <br />of this section, the number of positions in the various occu- <br />pational categories which are not currently occupied by <br />regular permanent employees. <br />D. Establishing of the positions identified in paragraph (e) <br />of this section, a goal which is consistent with the purpose <br />of this sub-part within each occupational category of the <br />number of positions to be filled by low income residents of <br />the Section 3 covered project area. <br />E. Making a good faith effort to fill all of the positions iden- <br />tified ln paragraph (D) of this section with low income pro- <br />ject area residents. <br /> <br />I <br />
