<br />B. Payment for additional services described in Article <br />III shall be on a monthly basis as the work is per- <br />formed and on the basis of the Engineer's Standard <br />Fee Schedule as follows: <br /> <br />Engineering Services <br /> <br />$35.00 <br /> <br />Technical Services <br />(computer time, subdivision design, <br />etc. ) <br /> <br />26.00 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />General Office Time <br />(drafting, field notes, deed <br />research, etc.) <br /> <br />22.00 <br /> <br />Secretarial Services <br /> <br />12.50 <br /> <br />Survey Field Party <br />(3-man crew) <br /> <br />45.00 <br /> <br />lOO% Reimbursement of Out-Of-Pocket Expenses <br />(filing fees, aerial photos, etc.) <br /> <br />C. Engineer shall submit monthly statements for additional <br />services rendered and for reimbursable expenses incurred. <br />Payment shall be made monthly. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />D. Reimbursable expenses mean the actual expenses incurred <br />directly or indirectly in connection with Improvements for: <br />transportation and subsistence incidental thereto; toll <br />telephone calls and telegrams; reproduction of reports, <br />drawings and specifications and similar Improvements <br />related items in addition to those required under Article <br />II; computer time including an appropriate charge for <br />previously established programs; and, if authorized in <br />advance in writing by City, overtime work requiring higher <br />than regular rates. <br /> <br />ARTICLE VI <br />CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />A. The City shall designate in writing a person to act as <br />the City's representative with respect to the work to be <br />performed under this agreement. Such person shall have <br />complete authority to transmit instructions, receive <br />information, interpret and define the City's policies <br />and decisions with respect to materials, equipment, <br />elements and systems pertinent to Engineer's services. <br /> <br />B. City will give reasonable notice to Engineer whenever <br />City observes or otherwise becomes aware of any defect <br />in the project. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />C. City shall furnish approvals and permits from all govern- <br />mental authorities having jurisdiction over the project <br />and such approvals and consents from others as may be <br />necessary for the completion of the project. The <br />Engineer will provide the City reasonable assistance in <br />connection with such approvals and permits such as the <br />furnishings of data compiled by Engineer pursuant to <br />other provisions of the contract, but shall not be <br />obligated to develop additional data, prepare extensive <br />reports or appear at hearings or the like unless <br />compensated therefor under other provisions of this contract. <br /> <br />6 <br />
