<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />PROPOSAL <br />to <br />The City of San Marcos, Texas <br /> <br />l4 <br /> <br />DATE: September 9 <br /> <br />, 1980 <br /> <br />Dear Sir: <br /> <br />The undersigned, in compliance with your invitation for bids for Main Lift <br />Station Improvements for the City of San Marcos, Texas, having examined the <br />Electrical Plans, Specifications and bidding documents, the site of the pro- <br />posed work, and being familiar with all the conditions relating to the pro- <br />posed project, proposes to furnish all labor, material and equipment and <br />perform all work required for construction of the project in accordance with <br />the Electrical Plans, Contract Documents and Technical Specifications for <br />the following price: <br /> <br />For furnishing and installing the equipment required in accordance with the <br />Technical Specifications and the Electrical Plans, a lump sum of <br /> <br />Thirt Four Thousand Seven Hundred Eleve~ollars $ 34.711 <br />written in words (figures) <br /> <br />Enclosed with this proposal is a (Cashier's or Certified Check payable to <br />the City of San Marcos) (Bid Bond) in the amount of <br /> <br />Five Percent of Maximum Bid Dollars $ <br /> <br />It is agreed that in the event this proposal is accepted by the City of San <br />Marcos and the undersigned bidder fails to execute a Cpntract and furnish <br />performance and payment bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of <br />contract to him, the proposal guaranty shall become the property of the City <br />of San Marcos as liquidated damages for delay and inconvenience; otherwise, <br />said check or bond shall be returned to the bidder after the successful <br />bidder has executed a contract and furnished the required bonds. <br /> <br />The undersigned bidder also agrees to commence work within ten (10) days <br />after written notice to do so and to substantially complete the work on <br />which he has bid by November 21, 1980.
