Gonzalez <br />Doriss Hambrick <br />Barbara Edw"ards <br />Bob Minnie <br /> <br />Also Present: Jerri Martin, J"eff Watkins, Melissa Millecfull, <br />Terry Lighthouse, Jake Krauskopf, Sharyl Werner, Craig Farmer, <br />Jane Wilson, Chris Brasher, Frances Emery, Joe Garza, Joe Cox, <br />Dr. Stouffer, Jim Byrn, Shirley Wickersham, Ted Breihan, Everett <br />Johnson, Harold Bryant, Nancy & Charles Ellis, Lester Schilling, <br />Betty Farlow, Arnold Leder, Ken Moss, Betty Wolverton, Phil pomier, <br />and others. <br /> <br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for consideration appointment of the Municipal <br />Court Judge and Alternate Judge. Mr. Stokes moved that 11arcos Hernandez <br />and Ron Champion be reappointed as Municipal Court Judge and Alternate <br />Judge respectively. ~1r. Tarbutton seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for consideration the Wonder World Drive (Redwood <br />Road) project. The City Manager stated that there had been no further <br />response from the Texas Highway Department. Mayor Kraus moved to table <br />the item. Hr. Cavazos seconded the motion. On roll call, the following <br />vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Brown, Cavazos, James, Kraus, Norris, Tarbutton <br /> <br />NAY: Stokes <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for consideration an Ordinance on third and final <br />reading having the following caption: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN t1ARCOS, TEXAS, REPEALING <br />THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN ~RCOS, TEXAS, <br />CODIFIED AS APPENDIX C OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AND ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE <br />TO BE CODIFIED AS APPENDIX C OF SAID CODE ADOPTING AND <br />PROMULGATING RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE PLATTING <br />OF LAND INTO SUBDIVISIONS IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND <br />WITHIN THE EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN ~'lARCOS AND REQUIRING PLATS TO CONFORM TO SUCH RULES <br />AND REGULATIONS IN ORDER TO PROCURE THE APPROVAL OF THE <br />CITY PLANNING AND ZONING COM}lISSION OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS; DEFINING TEID1S; FORBIDDING TRANSFERS OF LAND <br />WITHOUT COHPLYING WITH THE TERMS OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING <br />FOR VARIANCES FROM THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE; <br />PROVIDING FOR THE APPEAL OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING <br />PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE PROVISIONS OF <br />THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE; AND <br />PROVIDING FOR THE STUDY AND PASSAGE OF THE ORDINANCE. <br /> <br />Mrs. Norris moved to adopt the Ordinance on third and final reading. <br />Mr. Cavazos seconded the motion. Mr. Stokes moved to amend Article <br />II, Section B, #29 to delete the definition of modular home. Mrs. <br />Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />* Hayor Kraus and Mr. Cavazos left the meeting at 9:15 p.m. <br />
