<br />22 <br /> <br />special meeting <br /> <br />september 29, 1980 <br /> <br />page two <br /> <br />Mrs. Norris moved to amend Article II, Section B, #28 to state that <br />a Mobile Home Subdivision shall contain not less than 3 acres. Mr. <br />Stokes seconded the motion. Hr. Stokes asked Mrs. Norris to amend <br />her motion to include the Mobile Home Subdivision should contain at <br />least 20 lots. Mrs. Norris accepted Mr. Stokes amendment. On roll <br />call, the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Brown, Cavazos, Kraus, Norris, Stokes, Tarbutton <br /> <br />NAY: James <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. James moved to amend Article V, Section B, 5, d to state that <br />the beginning of the 30 day approval period will be upon formal <br />filing of the plat with staff and payment of required fees. Mrs. <br />Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Stokes moved to amend Article V, Section D, 5, d to state beginning <br />of 30 day approval period for preliminary plats will begin upon <br />payment of fees and formal filing with staff. Mrs. Norris seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mrs. Norris moved to table consideration of Article VI, Section J <br />on parkland. ~lr. Stokes seconded the motion and asked that the motion <br />be amended to place the old requirements for parks be in effect <br />temporarily. Mrs. Norris agreed to the amendment. The vote was for <br />unanimous approval. Mr. Stokes moved that the distance for parks in <br />relation to subdivisions be changed from ~ mile to ~ mile. Mr. <br />Tarbutton seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mrs. Norris moved to strike "an <br />from Article VI, Section J, 4. <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />On Article VII, Section E, the concensus of the Council was for the I <br />builder to be responsible for construction of sidewalks in sub- <br />divisions. Mrs. Norris moved to delete the section and table further <br />consideration pending further study. Mr. Tarbutton seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />area designated as one lot and which" <br />Mr. James seconded the motion, which <br /> <br />On the original motion to adopt the Ordinance, the vote was unanimous <br />for approval. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for consideration the Bishop Street Project. <br />Jim Byrn, of Dabney-Byrn Associates, reviewed the suggested plans <br />for this project. A copy of the report is attached and made a part <br />of these minutes. The Hayor stated that he understood that right- <br />of-way acquisition was to have been a part of the total cost. The <br />City Manager discussed the proposed assessment program which would <br />be used for acquiring right-of-way and supplementing the cost of the <br />improvements. The concensus of the Council was to proceed with the <br />assessment program before beginning the preliminary design phase. Mr. <br />James moved to accept the project proposal and proceed with the <br />assessment program. Mrs. Norris seconded the motion.
