I I I 31 MINUTES ot THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNOIL OF THE CITY OF SAN HARCOS, TEXAS, OC~O~ER 13, 1980 . PRESENT: Mayor Kenneth V. Kraus Council Members Karl W. Brown Robert L. Cavazos Berry R. James Tess Norris John J. Stokes Ed Tarbutton City Manager City Secretary City Attorney Director of Finance Director of Community Services A. C. Gonzalez Doriss Hambrick Barbara Edwards Earl tvilliams Albert Sierra Also Present: Jerri Martin, Jeff Watkins, Frank Waggnor, John Kreczmer, Mrs. Mott, George Brooks, Jane Wilson, W.B. Pryatel, H.C. Kyle III, Sharyl Werner, Joe Garza, Ed Salinas, Ernest Cummings, Ollie Giles, Randy Flowers, Melissa Millecam, and others. The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. After the Mayor ins sued a proclamation for Bicycle Safety Day, Mr. Tarbutton asked that the City Manager contact Tom Word of the Texas Highway Department about surveying streets in the City for bicycle pathways. The Mayor introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the regular meeting held September 22, 1980. ~lr. Stokes moved for approval of the minutes. Mr. James seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Hayor introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the special meeting held September 25, 1980. Mr. James moved to approve the minutes. Hr. Cavazos seconded the motion. On roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Cavazos, James, Kraus, Norris, Stokes NAY: None ABSTAIN: Tarbutton The Mayor introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the special meeting held September 29, 1980. Mrs. Norris moved to approve the minutes. Mr. Tarbutton seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the emergency meeting held Ocotber 8, 1980. Mr. Cavazos moved to approve the minutes. Mr. James seconded the motion. On roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Cavazos, James, Kraus, Tarbutton NAY: None ABSTAIN: Norris, Stokes The Mayor introduced for consideration appoinLments to the Environmental Advisory Board. Mrs. Norris moved that Dr. Willard Young and Jim Harrison be appointed. Mr. Cavazos seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor introduced for consideration appointments to the Library Board. Mrs. Norris moved to appoint Clara Storey. Mr. Stokes seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
