<br />BEING APPROXIMATELY 266 ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS, ADJOINING THE EXISTING
<br />CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, OUT OF THE J.M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE, AND
<br />BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:
<br />
<br />BEGINNING at the intersection of the Southeast line of Interstate Highway No. 35
<br />and the Northeast line of Redwood Road, same being a re-entrant corner of the
<br />existing City Limits of the City of San Marcos, for the most Northerly corner of
<br />the tract herein described. and being a Westerly corner of that tract of land
<br />conveyed to Isom Hale by Charles E. Blake, .et al, by deed dated March 23, 1973
<br />and recorded in Volume 257, Page 493. Hays County Deed Records;
<br />
<br />THENCE, leaving the said Interstate Highway No. 35, in a Southeasterly direction
<br />with the Northeast line of Redwood Road, a Southwest line of the said existing
<br />City Limits, to the Southeast line of the said J.M. Veramendi League, same being
<br />the Northwest line of the Barnett O. Kane Survey, for the East corner of the tract
<br />herein described, being at the intersection of the Northeast line of Redwood Road
<br />with the projection of the Southeast line of that tract of land described in a
<br />Contract of Sale by and between the Veterans Land Board, State of Texas, and
<br />Charles J. Harris, dated February 17, 1962 and recorded in Volume 190, Page 130,
<br />Hays County Deed Records;
<br />
<br />THENCE, leaving the said Hale tract, in a Southwesterly direction with the said
<br />Veramendi-Kane Survey Line, the projection of and the Southeast line of the
<br />said Harris tract, crossing the said Redwood Road and joining the Southeast
<br />line of the said Harris tract, and continuing on to the South corner of the
<br />said Harris tract, for the South corner of the tract herein described;
<br />
<br />THENCE, leaving the said Veramendi-Kane Survey Line, in a Northwesterly direc-
<br />tion, with the Southwest line of the said Harris tract, to the West corner
<br />of the said Harris tract, same being the South corner of that tract of land
<br />described as First Tract as conveyed to August Puls by E. Northcraft by deed
<br />dated August 1, 1980 and recorded in Volume Z Page 111, Hays County Deed Records;
<br />
<br />THENCE, continuing in a Northwesterly direction with the Southwest line of the
<br />said Puls tract, joining the existing City Limits Line of the City of San Marcos
<br />and continuing on to the West corner of the said Puls tract, for a Southwesterly
<br />corner of the tract herein described, same being a re-entrant corner of the said
<br />existing City Limits;
<br />
<br />THENCE, in a Northeasterly direction with the Northwest line of the said Puls
<br />tract, and the said existing City Limits, to the North corner of the said Puls
<br />tract, same being on the Southwest line of that tract of land conveyed to
<br />Alfredo Guerrero. Jr., by Eulalia Guerrero. Executrix, by deed dated May 11. 1957
<br />and recorded in Volume 171, Page 41, Hays County Deed Records, for are-entrant
<br />corner of the tract herein described;
<br />
<br />THENCE, leaving the said Puls tract, in a Northwesterly direction with the said
<br />existing City Limits and the Southwest line of the said Guerrero tract to the
<br />Southeast line of the aforementioned Interstate Highway No. 35, for the West
<br />corner of the tract herein described;
