II I I 86 THENCE, leaving the said City of San Marcos 40.85 acre tract, in a Southwesterly direction, with the Southeast line of the said State Highway No. 21, crossing the said M.K.T. Railroad and continuing on the the intersection of the Southeast line of the said State Highway No. 21, with the Northeast line of the aforementioned State Highway No. 80; THENCE, in a Southwesterly direction, crossing the said State Highway No. 80 to the Southwest line of the said State Highway No. 80; THENCE, in a Northwesterly directicn with the South- west line of State Highway 80, to the POINT OF BEGINNING containing 1890 acres of land, more or less, of which 1667 acres of land, more or less, are publicly owned lands be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of San Marcos, Texas. SECTION 2. That the corporate limits of said City be, and the same are hereby, extended to include said described territory. SECTION 3. That said described territory shall henceforth be a part of the City of San Marcos and any inhabitants thereof shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of all citizens, and shall be bound by the acts and ordinances, resolutions and regulations of said City. SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days from and after final passage and publication ln a newspaper of general circulation. PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading October 27, 1980. PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading November 3, 1980.
