<br />1 1. 0 mg/l. <br />2 10. The finished water shall be in full compliance with all of the Maximum <br />3 Contaminant Levels (MCLs) promulgated under the Safe Drinking Water Act, as <br />4 amended. <br />5 11. The filtered water shall be in full compliance with the turbidity limits established <br />6 under the pending Interim Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule. <br />7 The Performance Test shall commence within 24 hours of notice by the City that the Project <br />8 is ready for continuous operation. <br />9 <br />10 Section 12.02 - Performance Test Plan. <br />11 A. At least 60 days prior to the commencement of raw water delivery at the Project, <br />12 GBRA shall submit a detailed Performance Test Plan to the City for approval. The <br />13 Performance Test Plan shall address GBRA's approach and details for meeting the <br />14 requirements of this section. The Performance Test Plan shall define the procedures to be <br />15 used, the specific measurements to be made, the proposed usage of permanent and temporary <br />16 instrumentation, the organization of the test team, the testing schedule, and the operating and <br />17 maintenance schedule during testing. Preliminary tests may be conducted by GBRA's <br />18 expense, but the results of such tests shall not be made part of the Performance Test Report. <br />19 B. The City shall comment on, or approve the Performance Test Plan within 30 days <br />20 of receipt. The Performance Test Plan shall not be considered complete until all comments <br />21 are resolved and City authorization to proceed issued. <br />22 <br />23 Section 12.03 - Conduct of Test. All labor, materials, equipment, and services required to <br />24 conduct the Performance Test shall be supplied by GBRA. Laboratory analyses shall be <br />25 conducted by an outside laboratory, at GBRA's expense, using laboratory analytical quality <br />26 control standard procedures. During the Performance Test, the Project will deliver water to <br />27 the City's water distribution system. Should the performance of the Project be deemed to <br />28 be unsatisfactory at any time during the Performance Test, immediate action shall be taken <br />29 by GBRA to ensure that water delivered to the distribution system is of acceptable quality <br />30 at all times. <br />31 <br />32 Section 12.04 - Performance Test Report. GBRA shall submit 10 copies of the <br />33 Performance Test Report to the City within 20 days of conclusion of the test. Should <br />34 retesting be required, the City will charge GBRA for the costs of raw water delivered to the <br />35 Project that is discharged without meeting the required criteria. <br />36 <br />37 ARTICLE 13 MISCELLANEOUS <br />38 <br />39 Section 13.1 - GBRA as Independent Contractor.
