<br />45 <br /> <br />CURFEW ORDER <br />OFFICE OF THE MAYOR <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS. TEXAS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor Pro-Tern has issued a declaration of disaster within the City of San <br />Marcos; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish a curfew to prohibit access of persons to a certain area <br />of the City in the interest of public health, safety and welfare. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE MAYOR PRO-TEM OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That a curfew is hereby ordered at all times of day and night within the area of the <br />City described as follows: The entire area of the Spring Lake Dam, the area of Spring Lake for <br />a distance of 100 feet above Spring Lake, and the downstream channel between the Spring Lake <br />Dam and the University Drive (Loop 82) bridge over the San Marcos River. <br /> <br />Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person except an authorized emergency management <br />worker to enter the curfew area. <br /> <br />Section 3. That this Order shall take effect immediately from and after its issuance, and it shall <br />remain in effect throughout the period of the current disaster declaration unless earlier rescinded <br />by order of the Mayor or Mayor Pro-Tern. <br /> <br />Section 4.
