PRELIMINARY DESIGN <br />1) Meet with City to discuss the preferred alignments and transitions. <br />2) Prepare preliminary plan / profile drawings of the proposed improvements. <br />4) Develop cost estimate. <br />5) Submit to City for review. <br /> <br />$21,300.00 <br /> <br />FINAL DESIGN AND BIDDING <br /> <br />$7,600.00 <br /> <br />A. FINAL DESIGN / CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENT PREPARATION <br />1) Prepare final construction plans including plan/profile drawings and detail sheets. <br />2) Prepare a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan if required. <br />3) Prepare bid proposal with quantities. <br />4) Prepare specifications using the City of Austin and City of San Marcos Standard Specifications. <br />5) Submit plans and specifications to City for review. <br />6) Revise plans to incorporate City comments. <br />7) Assemble bid documents with contract documents from City Legal Department. <br />8) Develop final cost estimate <br /> <br />$5,720.00 <br /> <br />B. BIDDING PROCESS <br />1) Provide twenty sets of plans (ledger size) and bid documents for distribution from the City. <br />2) Assist the City in preparing the Notice to Bidders, City will be responsible for advertising. <br />3) Attend pre-bid conference at the City of San Marcos. <br />3) Prepare and distribute necessary addendums. <br />4) Assist the City in the bidding, evaluation, and recommendation of award on the project. <br /> <br />$1,880.00 <br /> <br />CONSTRUCTION SERVICES <br /> <br />$15,400.00 <br /> <br />A CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION $15,400.00 <br />1) Conduct pre-construction conference. <br />2) Review submittals for conformance to plans and specifications. <br />3) Perform bimonthly site visits to monitor and document that work confonns to plans and specifications. <br />4) Process monthly pay request. <br />5) Process any change orders in accordance with the City's guidelines. <br />6) Promptly address and perform design modifications required to minimize project delays. <br />7) Conduct final inspection of project with the City's inspector and Project Manager. <br />8) Provide the City with recommendation offinal acceptance once all punch list items have been addressed. <br />9) Provide the City with "as-built" drawings of the project in digital fonnat (DGN). <br /> <br />Total - $64.800.00 <br /> <br />ADDmONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />Hourly <br /> <br />1) Provide Easements <br />2) Attend Public Hearings. <br />3) Provide Expert Testimony. <br />4) Provide Construction Administration beyond original contract time. <br />5) Attend meetings with Texas Historical Commission <br />
