VANHORN SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 464, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, <br /> <br />BEING A PORTION OF THAT 258.44 ACRE TRACT DESCRIBED IN A DEED FROM <br /> <br />KELLY E. McADAMS ET UX TO KENNETH DOWNING ET UX DATED JULY I, 1970 <br /> <br />AND RECORDED IN VOLUME 237, PAGE 371 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED <br /> <br />RECORDS AND BEING A PORTION OF HAYS COUNTY ROAD NO. 266 (OLD <br /> <br />BASTROP HIGHWAY), AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES <br /> <br />AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />BEGINNING at a W' iron rod set in the west line of the herein <br />described tract, being in the north line of 0.154 acre tract <br />described in a deed from Kenneth G. Downing et ux to County of Hays <br />dated July 17, 1997 and recorded in Volume 1505, Page 511 of the <br />Hays County Official Public Records (said tract being deeded to <br />Hays County for right-of-way purposes for Old Bastrop Highway/Hays <br />County Road No. 266), from which a W' iron rod found for the <br />southwest corner of the 0.154 acre tract bears N 880 59' 52" W <br />740.17 feet, this PLACE OF BEGINNING being also on the approximate <br />extension of the east line of Francis Harris Road/Hays County Road <br />No. 265 at its intersection with Oid Bastrop Highway/Hays County <br />Road No. 266j <br /> <br />THENCE entering the remaining portion of the Downing 258.44 acre <br />tract, as shown on that plat numbered 24714-99-3(B)-d dated July 7, <br />1999 as prepared for the City of San Marcos by Byrn & Associates, <br />Inc. of San Marcos, Texas, the following eight courses: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />N 020 331 47" W 2461.82 feet to a ~" iron rod set for an <br />angle point, <br />N 460 20' 13" W 1621.47 feet to an angle point, <br />S 440 06' 05" W 12.02 feet to an angle P9inL <br />N 470 22' 39" W 110.21 feet to an angle pointi <br />N 450 41' 30" W 94.12 feet to an angle point, <br />N 460 40' 28" W 106.95 feet to an angle point, <br />N 460 061 18" W 212.37 feet to an angle point, and <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />8.
