<br />23. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1999 - 173 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE SALE OF A <br />PORTION OF LOT 4, BLOCK 8 OF THE D.S. COMBS <br />ADDITION, LOCATED IN THE 200 BLOCK OF SHADY LANE, <br />TO LUCRECIO FLORES; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO EXECUTE A DEED; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City is the owner of a portion of Lot 4, Block 8, D.S. Combs Addition, located <br />in the 200 block of Shady Lane, as described in the deed attached to this resolution. <br /> <br />2. A staff analysis has been made that has determined that there is no present or <br />anticipated future need for the City to retain this property. <br /> <br />3. The City has 'Complied with the requirements of Section 272.001 (a) of the Texas <br />Local Government Code regarding the sale of surplus real property by sealed bidding and <br />the high bidder for the purchase of this tract of property is Mr. Lucrecio Flores. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The sale of the parcel of real property described in Recital 1 above <br />for $ 500.00 to Lucrecio Flores is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the <br />attached Special Warranty Deed conveying to Lucrecio Flores the property described <br />above. <br /> <br />PART 3. <br />passage. <br /> <br />This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 13th <br /> <br />day of September <br /> <br />1999. <br /> <br />~~~.~ <br /> <br />Billy G.
