Retaining walls <br />and toe walls will be needed in this section of the Project. <br /> <br />(k) Proiect Area #11: Design to construct 1250 L.F. of sidewalks on Girard <br />Avenue (south side) from the intersection of Bishop Street to Clyde Street. Retaining walls <br />and toe walls will be needed in this section of the Project. <br /> <br />1.3.5 Design handicapped ramps on all intersections and construct transitions on all <br />driveways. <br /> <br />1.3.6 Provide a final plan on one 24" by 36" print reflecting the data outlined above in 1 :20 <br />scale. <br /> <br />1.3.7 Assist the City with the preparation of front end construction contract documents, <br />using forms supplied by the City, based on the. approved preliminary design documents <br />and any further adjustments authorized by the City in the scope, quality or budget of the <br />Project. Prepare bid tabulation forms and technical specifications using City of San Marcos <br />standards. These contract documents will include detailed plans and technical <br />specifications required for the Project to be accurately bid and efficiently constructed. <br /> <br />1.3.8 Use its best professional judgment to create documents that comply with applicable <br />construction and development codes, local regulations and ordinances and other federal <br />and state regulations which are known or which should reasonably be known to the <br />Consultant including those required under the ADA and Article 9102, V.A.C.S., <br />Architectural Barriers Act. The Consultant will be responsible for the submission of all <br />plans and specifications for the construction of this Project to the Texas Department of <br />Licensing and Regulation for review and approval prior to the time construction is set to <br />begin in conformance with the Architectural Barriers Act. The costs associated with the <br />submission of plans for review under the Architectural Barriers Act will be paid by the City. <br /> <br />4 <br />
