<br />(e) No license is required of a person who performs building activities on a structure <br />owned and occupied by the person as a residence. However, a building permit and <br />homeowner proiect registration are is required and all other sections of this chapter apply. <br />A fee set by the city council is charged for each homeowner project registration. <br /> <br />(f) No person shall perform services as a fire sprinkler installer or irrigation system <br />installer without first registering with the building inspection division and paying the <br />registration fee set by the city council. <br /> <br />{g} Each building, electrical, plumbing and mechanical contractor licensed by the <br />city or the state and doing business within the jurisdiction of the city shall display the <br />company name and license number in letters not less than two inches in height, with a <br />three-Quarter-inch stroke, on both sides of all vehicles used by the contractor. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Section 14.377 of the City Code is amended by adding a subsection (h) to <br />read as follows: <br /> <br />(h) A fee set by the city council is charged for each letter issued by the building <br />inspection division to a locally licensed electrician to facilitate reciprocal licensing in another <br />city. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. The following fees are set for building and sign construction and inspection <br />activities and contractor licensing under Sections 14.026, 14.027, 14.051, 106.041, <br />106.042 and 106.076 of the City Code: <br /> <br />New Construction Permits: <br />Single-family residential <br />All other construction <br /> <br />20#square foot <br />30~/square foot <br /> <br />Remodeling.
