Submit the "Issued for Bid" construction plans and specifications to the Texas <br />Natural Resource Conservation Commission for review. <br />11 . Coordinate with the City environmental science consultant and consult and advise <br />with the City environmental consultant for the City to perform environmental <br />assessments, for the City to obtain necessary environmental permits, and for the <br />City to address environmental issues. If requested by the City, FNI shall provide <br />environmental science services as an Additional Service. <br /> <br />A.3. Bid Phase <br /> <br />FNI will provide the following services during the bid phase: <br /> <br />12. Perform project management and coordination activities for this phase of services. <br />13. Attend and assist in conducting one (1) pre-bid conference. <br />14. Prepare 35 sets of the "Issued for Bid" documents for distribution by the City. <br />15. Prepare contract addenda as required for distribution by the City. <br />16. Attend the bid opening, evaluate bidders qualifications and prepare the engineer's <br />recommendation of award. <br /> <br />A. 4. Construction Phase <br /> <br />After award of the construction contract by the City FNIINC. will provide the <br />following construction phase services: <br /> <br />1 . Provide Project Management coordination of construction phase services provided <br />by FNI. <br />2. Make up to a total of 16 visits to the site (as distinguished from the continuous <br />services of a Resident Project Representative) to inspect the progress and the <br />quality of work and to determine if the work is proceeding in accordance with the <br />Construction Contract Documents. In performing the services outlined above, FNI <br />will endeavor to protect the City against defects and deficiencies in the work of <br />Contractors; FNI will report any observed deficiencies to the City, however, it is <br />understood that FNI does not guarantee the Contractor's performance, nor is FNI <br />responsible for supervision of the Contractor's operation or employees. FNI shall <br />not be responsible for the means, methods, techniques, sequences or procedures <br />of construction selected by the Contractor, or any safety precautions and programs <br />relating in any way to the condition of the premises, the work of the Contractor or <br />any Subcontractor.
