<br />Attachment A <br />Page 2 of 8 <br /> <br />· Preliminary flow calculations based City of San Marcos Land Plan on current <br />and anticipated development within the area to be served by the new <br />Cottonwood Creek Lift Station (CCLS) and including flows from the lift <br />stations located at Civic Center Loop, Clovis Barker Road and the San <br />Marcos Factory Shops; <br />· Provide a implementation plan schedule for future upgrade improvements. <br />· Identify permit requirements, (TxDot, County, City), to construct the <br />improvements. <br />· Recommendations of the final design and size of the force main and <br />interceptor; <br />· Preliminary opinion of probable construction cost. <br />2. Meet with City Staff to review the draft preliminary design report. Upon approval <br />and receipt of City's final review comments, finish the report and submit four (4) <br />copies of the report to the City. <br /> <br />A.2. Final Design Phase <br /> <br />Upon written authorization of the City to proceed with design, FNI will perform the <br />following tasks in this phase of work:. <br /> <br />1. Prepare a scope of work for the required geotechnical services. The City will <br />contract directly with the geotechnical firm. <br />2. Provide project management and coordination of design phase work effort. <br />3. Prepare detailed designs, layouts, construction plans and specifications, bid <br />documents using forms supplied by the City and construction contract documents <br />for the lift station, force main and interceptor line. City of Austin standard <br />specifications and details will be used, .augmented as needed by FNI specifications <br />and details. <br />4. Prepare TxDot highway permits for crossing or paralleling any state designated <br />highway. <br />5. Provide three (3) sets of "Issued for Review" construction plans for City Staff review <br />at the sixty (60) percent and construction plans and specifications at the ninety (90) <br />percent completion level. <br />6. Provide utility coordination during the design process to determine location of <br />utilities prior to design and notification of utilities to be relocated prior to <br />construction. <br />7. Provide topographic information for design of the planned improvements. <br />8. Provide three (3) sets of final "Issued for Review" construction plans and contract <br />documents for City review and comment prior to distribution of "Issued for Bid" <br />documents. <br /> <br />C:\TEMP\City of San Marcos Cottonwood Creek 3.wpd <br />
