<br />attached to this Agreement as Attachment A. Compensation for additional services will be <br />in addition to that specified for Basic Services in accordance with Section 13.3 of this <br />Agreement. The approval of the City's governing body is necessary for all additional <br />services the compensation for which exceeds $15,000. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />The City will: <br /> <br />2.1 Provide full information to the Engineer regarding the City's requirements for the <br />Engineer's services under this Agreement. The City will furnish the Engineer with copies <br />of official City design standards and construction standards, and other data and information <br />in the City's possession needed by the Engineer at the Engineer's request. <br /> <br />2.2 Charles T. Stone, P.E. will be the City's Project Manager and authorized <br />representative to act on the City's behalf with respect to this Agreement. The City will <br />examine the documents and information submitted by the Engineer and promptly render <br />responses to the Engineer on issues reqUiring a decision by the City. <br /> <br />2.3 Provide access to and make all necessary provisions for the Engineer to enter <br />public and private property as required for the Engineer to perform its services under this <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />2.4 Be responsible for obtaining signatures required to execute easements necessary <br />for the Project. <br /> <br />2.5 Provide inspection in accordance with TWDB requirements of the construction <br />contractor's work to ensure compliance with the contract documents. The City's Public <br />Works Department inspectors will be on site during construction to document the daily <br />progress of the work and materials and to document deviations from the plans and <br />specifications and report same to Engineer. <br /> <br />2.6 Bear all costs incident to this Article. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 3 <br />CONSTRUCTION COST <br /> <br />3.1 DEFINITION <br /> <br />3.1.1 The construction cost will be the total cost or estimated cost to the City of all <br />elements of the Project designed or specified by the Engineer. <br /> <br />3.1.2 The construction cost will include at current market rates, including a reasonable <br /> <br />9 <br />
