Inc., (PSn is pleased to submit the following proposal
for performance of a subsurface exploration at the site of the referenced project. The
subsurface exploration will be conducted to provide geotechnical infonnation and foundation
design criteria needed in the design of the proposed Gary Job Corps Center Trunk Main.

Based upon the infonnation provided, it is understood that the project will consist of
the construction of a sewerline begimring near the Gary Job Corps Center Waste Water
Treatment Plant and extending to existing City of San Marcos sewer system piping near the
Blanco River. One (1) to two (2) lift stations may be required. In addition, two (2) separate
alternate routes will be investigated at the west end of the project.

The subsurface exploration will include the following services:

· Perfonnance of services and provision of design data as requested
in the Geotechnical Scope of Work prepared by Freese. Nichols.

· Sampling and testing of the subsurface materials and observations
of the groundwater conditions on the site, to depths that would
significantly affect or be affected by the sewerline.

· Identification of the physical and engineering characteristics of
subsurface materials encountered during the sampling and testing.

· Provision of OSHA soil classifications to be used by others in
preparing trench safety designs.

· Recommendations of the type or types of foundations which would
be suitable for the proposed project and provision of data for use in
foundation design and construction.

Illfofmation To Build Oil

:;.:I"SS,OMa; Serv'ce !MC"S"<;S 1M: . 7~.ee g'J'WOOd L?""? .
