107. <br />Regular Meeting October 4, 2005 Page 9 <br />extension and overpass. 5) Mr. Guerrero stated he would like to see a <br />Proclamation presented for Relay for Life. 6) Mr. Mihalkanin stated he <br />would like to hold a discussion regarding communications across the <br />corridor with other jurisdictions for occurrences that cause IH35 traffic <br />to back up. 7) Mr. Mihalkanin stated he would an update on the San Marcos <br />Police Department investigation regarding the September 11th incident at <br />Texas State University. 8) Mayor Narvaiz stated she would like to hold a <br />discussion regarding the Commuter Rail and invite Ross Miloy to attend. 9) <br />Mr. Bose stated he would like to agendize an update on the status of the <br />pole attachment agreements. <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced continuing Executive Session pursuant to the <br />Government Code, Section 551.074, to discuss the evaluation of public <br />officers (City Manager, City Attorney, City Clerk, Municipal Court Judge); <br />and Section 551.087, to discuss commercial or financial information the <br />City has received from a business prospect that the City seeks to have <br />locate, stay or expand in or near the City and with which the City is <br />conducting economic development negotiations, or to deliberate the offer <br />of a financial or other incentive to such a business prospect (Sturgeon <br />Street area; IH35/Del Sol Drive area; IH35/Centerpoint Road area). The <br />Council adjourned into Executive Session at 8:03 p.m. <br />Mayor Narvaiz announced the Council would reconvene at 8:58 p.m. <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration adoption or direction to Staff <br />on matters discussed in Executive Session. Mr. O'Leary stated Council <br />provided direction regarding incentives for North IH35 area and <br />IH35/Centerpoint Road area. He stated the Council also provided direction <br />regarding a housing project in the Sturgeon Street area. He also stated <br />the Council provided direction regarding how to proceed with the <br />evaluations of City Manager, City Attorney, City Clerk and Municipal Court <br />Judge. <br />The meeting adjourned at 8:59 p.m. on motion made by Mr. Mihalkanin and <br />seconded by Mr. Taylor. <br />Susan Narva z <br />Mayor <br />
