<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />Prepare retaining wall layout sheets showing plan and profile of retaining walls, <br />and associated details, including soil borings in plan and profile views. <br /> <br />v. <br /> <br />Design standard underdrains to be utilized behind all walls. <br /> <br />G. Construction Sequence and Traffic Control Plan <br /> <br />1. Determine/design the project construction sequence and design traffic control <br />plan based upon the MUTCD, latest TxDOT Austin District traffic control design <br />requirements, City guidelines and adjoining project traffic control plan. The <br />Engineer will give consideration to traffic volumes, drainage (temporary & final), <br />utilities, R.O.W. restrictions, access to main lanes/frontage roads, access to <br />adjacent properties and cross streets, and other items which ultimately affect the <br />safe handling of traffic during construction. <br /> <br />11. Prepare layouts, details, typical sections, and narrative for each phase based upon <br />the agreed sequence of construction. <br /> <br />H. Earthwork Desie:n/Computations/Cross Sections <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Provide existing ground cross sections along the proposed alignment from a 3D <br />planimetric file supplemented with field survey data. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Utilize GEOP AK program to plot design cross-sections and compute earthwork <br />quantities. <br /> <br />111. Prepare reproducible earthwork cross-sections on grid for submittal to the City <br />and tabulate earthwork quantities. <br /> <br />IV. Provide earthwork cross-sections in a suitable electronic format for use by the <br />City. <br /> <br />I. Bride:e Desie:nlLayouts/Details <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Refer to the TxDOT Bridge Design Manual, Bridge Detailing Manual, Bridge <br />Project Development Manual, Bridge Railing Manual, Geotechnical Manual and <br />other deemed necessary State approved manuals or City manuals to prepare and <br />submit work. The Engineer will determine the location of soil boring(s) needed <br />for foundation design of the bridges in accordance to the Geotechnical Manual. <br />The Engineer will prepare the bridge layout plan sheets for the bridges to be <br />designed on this project: the approximate 2520-foot long bridge at Purgatory <br />Creek and the pair of approximate 100- foot long bridges for the private <br />development access road. The Engineer will submit early in the plan preparation <br />the bridge layouts and necessary hydraulic sheets and information to obtain <br />approval from the City and TxDOT.
