<br />information required per the applicable City and TxDOT manuals and respective I <br />checklist will be incorporated into the bridge layouts to include bridge typical <br />sections, structural dimensions, abutment and bent locations, superstructure and <br />substructure types. Locate and plot all soil borings and utilities and provide <br />geotechnical log information. Two bridges will be designed: <br />(a) Purgatory Creek crossing. Approximately 2520 foot multi-span structure. <br />(b) Private Development crossing. Approximately 100 foot single span <br />structure. <br /> <br />11. Prepare Bridge Detail Summary, including bridge quantities, estimates and <br />specifications. <br /> <br />111. <br /> <br />Refer to the applicable City and TxDOT manuals to prepare structural design and <br />develop detailed structural drawings of all required details in an effort to submit <br />the work under this task. Additionally, the Engineer will perform the following <br />tasks and calculations: <br />(a) design of bridge abutments and bents <br />(b) bridge slab design <br />(c) elevations of bridge substructure and superstructure <br />(d) bridge beam design <br />( e) foundation design <br />(f) foundation details and plan sheets <br />(g) abutment design <br />(h) framing plan and slab plan sheets <br />(i) tables for slab and bearing seat elevations, dead load deflections, etc. <br />(j) prepare beam design tables <br />(k) Coordinate with the City and support the City's effort in their public <br />outreach effort to achieve an acceptable aesthetic treatment for the <br />Purgatory Creek bridge structure <br />(l) details of final approved aesthetic treatments to be incorporated into the <br />design <br />(m) bridge summary of quantities sheet <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />IV. Identify and insert all applicable, current TxDOT and City standards. TxDOT <br />District Standards and/or miscellaneous details that have been approved for use <br />at other Districts will be signed, sealed, and dated by a Registered/Licensed <br />Engineer in Texas for use on this project. The use of these details will be <br />approved during the early stages of design by the City and the TxDOT Area <br />Engineer. In addition, these details will be accompanied by the appropriate <br />general notes, special specifications, special provisions, and method of payment. <br /> <br />J.
