She stated cheaper rates for solid waste collection should <br />not be a sacrifice for good customer service. She feels the only way to <br />ensure good customer service is to have a contract at will. She <br />encouraged the Council to not include the commercial services in the solid <br />waste contract. 2) John Thomaides stated he wished to speak on Item 28, a <br />discussion regarding solid waste. He stated many residents feel they are <br />receiving good and reliable service for a cheaper rate at the present <br />time. He stated he is also in support of Item 11, an Ordinance amending <br />the Historic Preservation Ordinance to include the Dunbar Historic <br />District. 3) Melanie Froh stated she wished to speak on Item 6E, the <br />appointment of Parks and Recreation Advisory Board member.
