Regular Meeting March 24, 2003 Page 4 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY ZONING A 17.134 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY ON REDWOOD ROAD NEAR ITS INTERSECTION WITH OLD BASTROP ROAD AS "R-2" SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (MEDIUM DENSITY); ZONING A 5.921 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY ON REDWOOD ROAD NEAR ITS INTERSECTION WITH OLD BASTROP ROAD AS "R-I" SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (LOW DENSITY); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. Mayor Habingreither opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak. No one did, so Mayor Habingreither closed the public hearing. Ms. Narvaiz moved for adoption of this Zoning Ordinance and Mr. Mayhew seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Habingreither introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 0.246 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 204 MILL STREET, FROM "C" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO "R-i" SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES.
