140. <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />March 24, 2003 Page 4 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY ZONING A 17.134 ACRE <br />TRACT OF PROPERTY ON REDWOOD ROAD NEAR ITS INTERSECTION WITH OLD <br />BASTROP ROAD AS "R-2" SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (MEDIUM <br />DENSITY); ZONING A 5.921 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY ON REDWOOD ROAD NEAR <br />ITS INTERSECTION WITH OLD BASTROP ROAD AS "R-I" SINGLE-FAMILY <br />DWELLING DISTRICT (LOW DENSITY); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND <br />PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br /> <br />Mayor Habingreither opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished <br />to speak. No one did, so Mayor Habingreither closed the public hearing. <br />Ms. Narvaiz moved for adoption of this Zoning Ordinance and Mr. Mayhew <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Habingreither introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br />adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 0.246 <br />ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 204 MILL STREET, FROM "C" <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO "R-i" SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT; <br />INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br /> <br />Mayor Habingreither opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished <br />to speak.
