Improve Flood Warning in Hays County. <br /> <br />[Utilizing funding available from the Hurricane Rita Recovery effort, Hays County submitted <br />an HMGP application to the Governor's Division of Emergency Management (TxDEM) for <br />funding for this mitigation action.] <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />This Action Item is to identify sites where stream and rain gauges and flood warning for the <br />fourteen (14) High Hazard dams is needed in Hays County and coordinate installation requests <br />with the USGS, GBRA and NWS.
