Communities that do not formally adopt the county-wide plan during <br />the initial adoption will be encouraged to adopt and implement the Plan during annual <br />plan reviews. The ultimate goal is for all incorporated communities to join Hays <br />County and formally adopt and implement the Plan. <br /> <br />Fire Resistance Action Items (Fire) (Four actions identified) <br /> <br />Note: Mitigation Action T-2 includes building code and building standards improvements that <br />pertain to Fire Resistance and mitigation. <br /> <br />Fire-I. Backup Power for Fire Stations <br /> <br />Install emergency generators for backup power at all fire stations in Hays County. There are <br />numerous rural and volunteer fire stations in Hays County that do not have backup power <br />available.
