L i <br /> <br />January 24, 2004 <br /> <br />Governor's DivIsion of Emergency Management review comments <br />related to the Draft Hays County Mitigation Plan were received by <br />Hays County Fire Marshal's Office and the consultant, Halff <br />Associates, Inc. <br /> <br /> <br />January 30, 2004 <br /> <br />February 1, 2004 <br /> <br />February 13, 2004 <br /> <br />February 17, 2004 <br /> <br />Meeting of the Texas Colorado River Floodplain Coalition at the <br />LCRA McKinney Roughs Training Facility, Bastrop, Texas. The <br />meeting included discussion of the TCRFC Map Master Plan that <br />includes Hays County and TCRFC Mitigation Plan for the Lower <br />Colorado River Basin which is adjacent to Hays County. Hays <br />County was represented at the meeting by its consultant, Halff <br />Associates who announced the February 17, 2004 Public Meeting <br />date to present the Hays County Mitigation Plan. <br /> <br />The San Marcos Daily Record published a Public Notice regarding <br />the Public Hearing for the Hays County Mitigation Plan. <br /> <br />The San Marcos Daily Record published an article, "Flood <br />mitigation. We're going to have another flash flood. It's only a <br />matter of time." The article discussed the Hays County Mitigation <br />Plan and the February 17, 2004 Public Heming. <br /> <br />Public Meeting to present the Hays County "Draft" Mitigation Plan <br />for public comment. <br /> <br />List of Public Meeting attendees and public comments are on file in the Hays County OEM. <br /> <br />March 2004 <br /> <br />March 2004 <br /> <br />March 2004 <br /> <br />Based on comments and recommendations received from "Other <br />Agencies", questionnaires, and the Public Meeting, the Consultant <br />revised the Mitigation Plan in preparalion for the Plan adoption by <br />Hays County Commissioners Court and each City Council. <br /> <br />Meetings of the Hays County Commissioners Court and each <br />individual community City Council to formally adopt the Hays <br />County Mitigation Plan <br /> <br />Hays County Mitigalion Planning Committee provides assistance to <br />Hays County and participating communities to implement the Plan <br />as approved by Hays County Commissioners Court and each <br />community City Council.
