1.3 ADDITIONAL SERVICES /CHANGE IN SERVICES 1.3.1 Since the Contractor's compensation is based on fixed costs for Basic Services, including minor deviations from those described in this Agreement, compensation to the Contractor for Additional Services (outside the scope of services identified in Sections 1.1 and 1.2 of this Agreement) will only be for substantial deviations from the scope of services described in this Agreement. The Contractor will submit a written estimate of fees to the City and obtain the City's authorization before initiating any additional services. 1.3.2 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by the Contractor must be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services ( "ACIS ") form attached to this Agreement as Attachment B. Compensation for additional services will be in addition to that specified for Basic Services in accordance with Article 13 of this Agreement. The approval of the San Marcos City Council is necessary for all additional services the compensation for which exceeds $50,000.00. ARTICLE 2 THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES The City will: 2.1 Provide full information to the Contractor regarding the City's requirements for the Contractor's services under this Agreement. The City will furnish the Contractor with copies of data and information in the City's possession needed by the Contractor at the Contractor's request. 2.2 Designate Gib Watt, Assistant Fire Marshal/Inspector as the City representative authorized to act on the City's behalf with respect to this Agreement. The City may, at its sole option, substitute another City representative with prior notice to the Contractor. The City will examine the documents and information submitted by the Contractor and promptly render responses to the Contractor on issues requiring a decision by the City. 2.3 Provide access to and make all necessary provisions for the Contractor to enter public and private property as required for the Contractor to perform its services under this Agreement. 2.4 Supply the following equipment: a) Electrical Power: The City will provide 110/120 VAC power to each pole. The Contractor is required to provide the City with the power draw requirements of each installation. The Contractor is required to provide wiring and its installation and connection from the point of power supply to the installed equipment.
