7 Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. This is an opportunity for the Press <br />and Public to ask questions related to items on this agenda. <br />Sherwood Bishop, 124 Elm Hill Court, asked if it would be helpful to have something similar to <br />what he presented the Council regarding the Arts Commission and Diversity projects funding for <br />the general fund Arts funding requests? Mayor Guerrero stated that it would be helpful. <br />He also asked a question in regards to parks funding for the maintenance staff. He asked if we <br />are still below the 2001 RIF numbers? Mayor Guerrero stated that yes that was accurate. <br />Sarah Lee Underwood, 1424 Harper, asked if the Council to consider a $40,000 upgrade to the <br />dog park? The Mayor directed her to take the item before the Parks Advisory Board. <br />Clarissa De la Santos, 1614 Mockingbird Dr, asked how the City could begin to allocate more <br />funds from the general fund to programs such as the ones supported by El Centro Cultural <br />Hispano de San Marcos? Mayor Guerrero stated by finding something that doesn't get funding. <br />He stated that they could have a conversation later on as a Council. <br />8.
