People will
experience downtown life as students, visitors,
community members, and professionals, residents, etc.,
and these days will remain fresh in their minds for the
rest of their livesa People who share the experience of
living and working together in a remarkable place
invariably will share certain values and a sense of
commitment to the San Marcos community. The
Broaddus team will develop a master plan that can add
immeasurably to the sense of friendliness, comfort,
sociability and community.

In the end, the plan should combine community tradition with new innovations. Equally
important, it should be visionary and realistic, while being consensus driven to ensure incremental
implementation and City and community stakeholder support.

t
