These rates are based on the following: <br /> Customer Charge per month based on type of service <br /> Energy Charge - kwh <br /> Demand Charge - kW (medium m~d large General Service) <br /> Power Cost Adjustment - kwh <br /> · Tax <br />Determination of Billing Demand <br />The billing demand each month shall be the greater of: Highest metered kW <br /> 65% of the highest kW demand during the previous 11 months <br /> Minimum kW (value varies depending on rate type) <br /> · 50% of the Contract Demand <br />Issue - Cm'rently, PUBs handles all these demand tests with the exception that <br />Contract Demand uses the same percentage assigned to the peak kW test fbr the <br />previous I 1 months. In the event that an alternative solution cannot be found to <br />address this issue a modification would be required. Harris will provide this <br />modification free of charge. <br />Time of Day Rates <br />PUBs is capable of calculating San Marcos Time of Day bills. <br />Set-up Requirement - Electric Meters will require 2 kW meter points, assigned to <br />separate bill codes and time bands. The OffPeak time band needs to be set-up as <br />a Bill Demand = N and Use Facility Charge = Y. The Off Peak meter point will <br />require a bill code assigned to rate type = 0. <br />Street Lighting / Outdoor Lighting <br />Street Lighting and Outdoor Lighting are based on a flat rate per fixture rate dependent <br />on the size and type of the lamp. These lights are also subject to Power Cost adjustment. <br />Them are no foreseen issues related to these rates. <br />Traffic Signal Service <br />Traffic signals are metered and charged a rate per kWh.
