D. The Contractor will keep all equipment clean and in a good state of repair. <br /> <br /> E. The Contractor will not allow the noise level for the collection vehicles during the statioaary <br />collection or compaction process to exceed 75 decibels at a distance of 25 feet from the collection vehicle <br />and at an elevation of five feet fi'om tbe horizontal base plane of the vehicle. <br /> <br /> F. The Contractor will identify its velficles and other equipment with the name, address, and <br />pboue number of the Coutractor's local office on each of its passenger doors so that the information is <br />clearly readable fi'om a distance of 100 feet. <br /> <br /> G. Tbe Contractor will provide access at any time for tbe City to inspect tbe equipment to ensure <br />tbat all equipment meets the requirements oftbis Contract and bas the proper TXDOT certification. <br /> <br />1.4.7 Personnel <br /> <br /> A. The Contractor will provide properly trained, capable drivers witb current class "B" drivers <br />licenses. <br /> <br /> B. The Contractor will ensure that all of its employees, permanent or temporary, present a neat <br />appearance and can be easily recognized wbile performing work under tbis contract. All of its employees <br />will wear appropriate identification badges or uniforms. <br /> <br /> C. The Contractor will ensure that any persons employed who are not United States citizens have <br />valid work permits. <br /> <br /> D. The Contractor will remove fi'om service under this Contract and replace any of its employees <br />for just cause as requested by the City. <br /> <br />1.4.8 Customer Service/Office Facilities <br /> <br />The Contractor will maiatain an office within the City limits, or provide other facilities tbrongb which it <br />can be contacted. The Contractor will provide sufficient local or toll free telepbones and office staff in <br />order to provide necessary services fi'om 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on regular collection days. In addition, <br />the Contractor will provide for voice mail receipt of after-hours inquiries and communications. <br /> <br />1.4.9 Disposal <br /> <br />The Contractor will haul and dispose of all solid waste collected by it in the contract area at a disposal site <br />licensed by the State of Texas for that purpose. The disposal site must bave adequate capacity to <br />accommodate tbe requirements oftbis Contract. The Contractor is responsible for payment of all costs of <br />disposaI, inclnding without limitation, tipping, environmental, inspection or other fees charged by <br />disposaI site operators or governmeataI autborities in connection witb disposal activities. <br /> <br />1.4.10 Ownership of Collected Solid Waste <br /> <br />The Contractor accepts title to all solid waste and recyclable materials, other tban unacceptable materials, <br />placed in the Contractor's collection vehicles, removed by the Contractor fi'om a cart, recycling bin or <br />container, or removed by tbe Contractor from tbe customer's premises.
