<br />1.1.5 No work under this Agreement will be subcontracted by the Consultant without prior <br />written approval from the City. Any work or services subcontracted under this Agreement shall <br />be specified by separate written Agreement and shall be subject to each provision of this <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Project Architect, and the Owner's Representative. <br /> <br />1.1.6 Any provisions in this Agreement pertaining to the City's review, approval and/or <br />acceptance of written materials prepared by the Consultant and/or its subconsultants, contractors, <br />and subcontractors in connection with this Agreement will not diminish the Consultant's <br />responsibility for the materials. <br /> <br />1.1.7 The City and the Consultant understand and agree that, as used in this Agreement, the <br />following terms have the corresponding definitions: <br /> <br />Continuous Inspection - The full time inspection of work requiring special inspection by <br />an approved inspector who is present in the area where the work is being performed. <br /> <br />Periodic Inspection - The part-time or intermittent inspection of work requiring special <br />inspection by an approved inspector who is present in the area where the work has been <br />or is being performed and at the completion of work. The Consultant will conduct <br />periodic inspections one to two times per week for the duration of the Project to provide I <br />for overall general compliance with the construction contract documents. <br /> <br />The Consultant will bring all discrepancies to the immediate attention of the Construction <br />Contractor for correction, then, if uncorrected, to the Project Architect, the City (through the City <br />Building Official) and the Owner's Representative. <br /> <br />1.1.8 The Consultant will submit all reports to the City, executed and in final form. These <br />reports will indicate whether the work requiring the inspection was, to the best of the <br />Consultant's knowledge, in conformance with the approved construction plans and specifications <br />and the applicable code provisions. <br /> <br />1.1.9 Consultant will perform all of its services in coordination with the City. The Consultant <br />will advise the City of data and information the Consultant needs to perform its services, and the <br />Consultant will meet with City representatives at mutually convenient times to assemble this data <br />and information. <br /> <br />1.2 TASK 1- SITE WORK, FILLING AND BACKFILLING <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />1.2.1 Perform field density tests on the building subgrade and each lift of fill at a rate of one (1) <br />test per 2500 square feet and on the pavement sub grade and fill at a rate of one (1) test per 2500 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />PSI Conference Center Testing.doc <br /> <br />2 <br />
