Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present <br />With a quorum present, regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Daniel Guerrero at 5:02 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 in the Council Chambers <br />of the City of San Marcos City Hall, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />3. 5 00PM Executive Session in accordance with §551.072 - Real Estate - to deliberate <br />regarding the potential purchase of Farm Lot 25 of 5.62 acres more or less and Farm <br />Lot 27 of 135 acres, more or less, otherwise known as the Meeks Property located at <br />C M Allen and Comal Street for parks and recreation purposes; as well as, deliberate <br />regarding the sell price for the Leah Tract; also, to deliberate concerning the possible <br />acquisition of the Cape's Camp property for park and recreation purposes. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Thomason and a second by Council <br />Member Becak, the City Council voted five (5) for, none (0) opposed, and two (2) absent from <br />the dais, Council Member Prather and Thomaides, to adjourn into closed session. The motion <br />carried. <br />4. Consider adoption or direction to Staff on matters discussed in Executive Session. <br />
