<br /> services involved under this Agreement. No work under this Agreement will be <br /> subcontracted by the Consultant without prior written approval from the City. Any work or <br /> services subcontracted under this Agreement shall be specified by separate written <br /> Agreement and shall be subject to each provision of this Agreement. Any provisions in this <br /> Agreement pertaining to the City's review, approval and/or acceptance of written materials <br /> prepared by Consultant and/or its subconsultants, contractors, and subcontractors in <br /> connection with this Agreement will not diminish the Consultant's responsibility for the <br /> materials. <br /> 1.1.4 Consultant will perform all of its services in coordination with the City. The <br /> Consultant will advise the City of data and information the Consultant needs to perform its <br /> services, and the Consultant will meet with City representatives at mutually convenient <br /> times to assemble this data and information. <br /> 1.2 TASK 1- PRE-DESIGN SERVICES <br /> Evaluation of the City's Program and Site. and Construction Contracting Format <br /> <br /> The Consultant will: <br /> 1.2.1 Provide a preliminary evaluation of the information furnished by the City under this <br /> Agreement, including the City's program and schedule requirements and budget for the <br /> cost of the Project, each in terms of the other. The Consultant shall review such <br /> information to ascertain that it is consistent with the requirements of the Project and will <br /> notify the City of any other information or consultant services that may be reasonably <br /> needed for the Project. <br /> 1.2.2 Provide a preliminary evaluation of the City's site for the Project based on the <br /> information provided by the City of site conditions, and the City's program, schedule and <br /> budget for the cost of the Project. <br /> 1.2.3 Review the City's proposed method of contracting for construction services and <br /> notify the City of anticipated impacts that such method may have on the City's program, <br /> financial and time requirements, and the scope of the Project. <br /> 1.2.4 Manage the Consultant's services and administer the Project. The Consultant will <br /> consult with the City, research applicable design criteria, attend Project meetings, and <br /> communicate with members of the Project team. The Consultant will coordinate its <br /> services with those provided by the Consultant's subcontractors, and with those services <br /> provided by the City and the City's consultants. <br /> 1.2.5 Make presentations to explain the design of the Project to representatives of the <br /> City, or to others on the City's behalf, and attend meetings periodically with the City to <br /> review the status of the Project. <br /> 2 <br />
